On behalf of a large Bay Area employer, we obtained the complete dismissal of all claims alleged by a purported “whistle blower” after filing a motion for summary judgment.
We tried two cases in the Complex Department of the San Mateo County Superior Court dealing with the breach of fiduciary duties and the breach of several contracts. The jury returned a verdict in our client’s favor and awarded six figures in damages for breach of contract. The bench trials on the breach of fiduciary duty issues have been under submission since late February 2013.
We represented a publicly-traded sporting goods retail client in a dispute for indemnity arising out of a supplier’s breach of warranty, resulting in a favorable settlement before the first deposition.
